Thing 16 &17

I wish I had more time to explore all of the great ways that libraries have used wikis. It would be interesting to begin one on our homepage but I'm sure to view and monitor would be a huge assignment.

I also liked that wikis were used as a learning tool. I wondered if we should consider developing a staff wiki to keep the Maryland 23 training and new innovations in front of staff.

Wikis seemed like a great resource for pre-meeting prep. Maybe meeting would be more focused and not as long.

Wow, that was very informative and enlightening. It made me aware of how much technology libraries have to offer and how difficult it is to keep patrons informed of the assets already available to them. As great as it appears to be able to simplify and organize the process there will always be so many levels of assistance libraries can offer.

I'm glad someone has the organization skills to collate all of the blog information floating around. It was fascinating to watch and read the different blogs but overwhelming.

Week 5-Thing 10 and 11

I have just played with an advertising, the cartoon generator a cocktail generator. I haven't explored how to add them to my blogs yet. That will be next experiment.

I also registered for a My Library Thing account. I have cataloged my five books and this is a great resource to be aware of other titles.

Week 4 Thing 8 & 9

I have just added some great RSS content -everything from news, books, racing an clips from Jon Stewart each day. I also added a library blog.
